This curation emphasizes the transformation of maps from spatial tools of the past to vehicles reflecting social issues. Through maps from different eras, the exhibition introduces the concerns of governing authorities and the traces of power relations. Contemporary maps have evolved beyond their traditional function of solving spatial problems and now serve multiple purposes. People today use mapmaking to express their concerns, critiques, and dissatisfaction with real-world issues. What once appeared to be objective spatial maps have now become diverse, socially engaged maps.

The exhibition is visually unified by the "latitude and longitude lines" that symbolize map symbols, with three-dimensional lines traversing throughout the space. Maps allow "places" to become transferable objects. When holding a lightweight map, it feels as though the earth is within our grasp. By transforming the map into a three-dimensional world, we invert the traditional relationship between maps and people, immersing visitors in a world constructed by map knowledge, creating an expansive atmosphere filled with boundless possibilities.
