Sound plays a crucial role in the storage of memory; it can evoke recollections and sensations, flowing with emotion to create resonance and connection between different individuals, shaping shared life experiences and values. "Listening In: The Sound Memory Exhibition" focuses on the theme of "sound," offering a new approach to exploring the history of memory.

The exhibition uses "sound" as a guide, adopting a theatrical-style spatial design. It creates unique installations tailored to various sound works, connected by soft curtains, as if drawing back the drapes of a sound theater. Visitors can bend down to peek into reflections on the COVID-19 pandemic, step into a food stall to operate a karaoke machine and listen to the voices and cries of migrant workers, or walk through a canopy of trees to experience the power of silence. They may also be drawn to the rhythmic sound of the Wangchuan ritual, joining other visitors in experiencing this moving auditory journey.
